We are proud to stand with the US Military and their efforts to bring peace and democracy to troubled parts of the world.  So when First Lieutenant Zachary Schaeffer of Fox Company, 2/2 Stryker Cavalry Regiment came to us looking for some tough-looking t-shirts for his soldiers, we were happy to oblige.  The Fox Company’s “Rough Riders” deserved a design that captured their readiness, ferocity and power, to commemorate their participation in Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010 through 2011.  In typically concise military fashion, Lieutenant Schaeffer offered the following assessment: “Awesome work, we love the shirts!” We only wish he’d thrown in a few indecipherable acronyms to boot. His soldiers ordered long-sleeve, short-sleeve, and sweatshirts in desert tan, gray and black.

Grinning Moon Creative returned to the Merrimack Valley Skate Club (MVSC) this Spring to capture on video the talents of its skaters in their annual recital. This year’s recital theme was “Love is in the Air,” and the musical selections reflected that sentiment.

The show featured performances from children as young as 4, and included a special appearance by The Sharper Edge Synchronized Skating Team.

Fun, family-friendly clothing line Scoops has retained Grinning Moon Creative for their branded apparel. When they launched the company, Scoops sought to produce fun, cartoony apparel that incorporated their ice cream cone-themed logo. The Scoops team imagined clothing featuring outrageous characters eating ice cream, from surfers to astronauts to King Kong! But lacking an in-house artist, they turned to Grinning Moon Creative for the custom illustrations.

Grinning Moon’s Artistic Director James Mojonnier says, “Scoops is such a fun-loving company. The artwork on their clothing ought to convey that same lightheartedness.”  Scoops proprietor Nathan St. Amant agrees: “That’s why you guys are so great at what you do – we are not creative types over here.”

Grinning Moon Creative is pleased to announce the launch of of a newly-redesigned website for its client, The New Hampshire Academy of Performing Arts (NHAPA).  The redesign represents a major visual overhaul of the original site Grinning Moon built for NHAPA in 2008, as well as the addition of many new technologies to bring NHAPA into the “Web 2.0″ era.

Says Grinning Moon designer James Mojonnier, “We’ve put the most timely and important information on the home page. We consolidated and streamlined the menu experience. Grinning Moon Creative has completed a new video advertisement for Ayotte Home Improvements, featuring proud and happy clients Paula & Marty Dunlavey of Derry, New Hampshire. The Dunlaveys had a house they weren’t proud of. After a friend recommended Bob Ayotte, they hired Ayotte Home Improvements to remodel their bathroom and kitchen. Now, they can’t stop telling friends how much they love their house. This video is the first installment of Ayotte Home Improvements’ new ad campaign, “Meet Our Clients,” which lets their customers do the talking.

LaBelle Winery owner Amy LaBelle decided to commemorate her parents’ 40th wedding anniversary in a very special way: with a Celebration Video! The 12-minute video featured over 150 photos of the Carol & Francis’ marriage and life together, songs they love, and was interspersed with titles describing the time they have spent together.

We heard from Amy about the gift: “Even my dad cried when he saw it! My parents have had it playing on a loop all weekend, so they can watch it over and over.  They said it was the best gift my sister and I could have given them.”
